Shaping attitudes, changing behaviours.

Ever been bullied because of your sexuality? So many young people are.

Can you help young people who are going through what you might have been through, growing up, in school?

Over a million children and young people get bullied every week in the UK. Beatbullying is the UK's leading bullying prevention charity, and we are working hard to help millions of young people to beat bullying, but we need your help. We need people like you who can relate to issues such as homophobia in schools to provide guidance and support to thousands of young people that face these issues every day of their lives.

We've recently launched an innovative programme called CyberMentors. CyberMentors is a unique and pioneering programme to tackle the growing problem of cyberbullying and help keep safe the millions of young people that use social networking, mobile and text messenging services.

CyberMentors are volunteers who help, assist and support their peers in an online virtual community, and act as mentors to young people they meet online. We need more CyberMentors to help us beat bullying.

If you are aged between 20-25 and can spare just two hours of your time each week to help us keep young people safe online, then sign up today and make a difference.

Please contact us by sending your name, email and contact number to digitalvolunteering@beatbullying.org or you can call us on 020 8768 1010. We'll provide you with first class training and you can helpus to beat bullying.

If you know any young people that may benefit from getting help from CyberMentors, please ask them to log onto: www.cybermentors.org.uk
